Midge Bubany is a retired teacher who found a second career as an author. Besides writing, she loves to read, garden, golf, bike, and paint with water colors. In order to effectively write in the voice of a deputy detective, she educated herself using various resources including the Orono Police Citizens Academy and the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office Citizens Academy which also allowed her the privilege of ride alongs. She lives with her husband in suburban Minneapolis. Midge is the co-host of Generations, Classic edition, a community television show with SPNN which and can also be found on Youtube. Midge is available for book clubs, talks, and signings.

The Cal Sheehan mysteries are set in Central Minnesota. The first book in the series, The Equalizer, was released June, 2014; Silver’s Bones,  March, 2015;  Crow Wing Dead, March, 2016. Her newest title, Love ‘Em or Leave ‘Em Dead, was just released in April, 2017!
