Welcome to my website, MIDGE BUBANY, AUTHOR! I am a retired teacher who found a second career as an author.  I write the Cal Sheehan mysteries set in Central Minnesota. The first book in the series, The Equalizer, was released June, 2014; Silver’s Bones,  March, 2015;  Crow Wing Dead, March, 2016, and my newest title, Love ‘Em or Leave ‘Em Dead, was just released in April, 2017. I am currently working on the fifth in the series, Killing John Kane.

Besides writing, I love to read, garden, golf, bike, and paint with water colors. In order to effectively write in the voice of a deputy detective, I educated myself using various resources including the Orono Police Citizens Academy and the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office Citizens Academy which also allowed me the privilege of ride alongs. I am also the co-host of Generations, Classic edition, a community television show with SPNN which and can also be found on Youtube. I am available for book clubs, talks, and signings. Midge, purchased a gull set of your novels at Nickle Dickle days a couple weeks ago. Still making my way through “The Equalizer “. Didn’t want to wait to tell you how much I am enjoying your book. As good or better than any NY Times best sellers. Grate reads!
